Tip: Head to Joe’s about 30+ minutes before you want to eat. The line is almost always out the door.

Joe’s is a Kansas City staple. It’s a classic, like Gates and Arthur Bryant’s. Everyone knows of it, and almost everyone loves it. Famously located in a gas station, Joe’s Kansas City BBQ has won numerous accolades, including America’s Best BBQ Restaurant in 2017.

The Berkley Riverfront Park is a small park along the Missouri River with running trails, sand volleyball courts, picnic tables and more. Just north of downtown Kansas City, the park is easy to get to with a Kansas City Streetcar stop and Kansas City B-Cycle racks close.
