The Battle of Westport Museum depicts the experiences of the soldiers and civilians during the largest Civil War battle west of the Mississippi River. The three-day battle covered more than 25 square miles on the land that would eventually become Kansas City.

Manifesto is a secret speakeasy-style bar located in the basement of the The Rieger restaurant and hotel in Kansas City. Manifesto pays homage to Kansas City and The Rieger’s vast Prohibition-era history.

Though the Crossroads is mostly known as Kansas City’s art district, more and more breweries have been popping up in the area. Unlike the biggest Kansas City brewery, Boulevard, the Crossroads breweries are small and intimate. Each brewery has their own atmosphere, unique beer selection and regular crowd, so it’s easy to find your personal favorite.
