About CrossroadsKC

CrossroadsKC is an outdoor concert space in the Crossroads Art District that features 30-40 diverse acts each year. Since 2007, the space has been hosting a variety of bands from rock to reggae to bluegrass. Unlike Providence Medical Center Amphitheater, CrossroadsKC is a small and just blocks from downtown Kansas City.

CrossroadsKC

The venue is mostly general admission standing room in a mulched lawn area, but does have bleacher and VIP options. Some shows allow GA to bring in blankets or lawn chairs, but it varies, so check before you go!

CrossroadsKC

CrossroadsKC is located behind Grinder’s Pizza, a nationally renowned restaurant. The restaurant and its owner, Stretch, have been featured on multiple Food Network shows, including Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and Guy’s Big Bite.

Shows at CrossroadsKC

Before a show, Grinder’s is a great place to hang out and get pizza, wings or sandwiches. If it’s too packed, there are many breweries, restaurants and many Crossroads murals nearby too.

The best part is easily the bands that are booked. The staff truly knows their space and the performers that would do well at the venue. I’ve been to three concerts at CrossroadsKC – Shakey Graves, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Sylvan Esso – and all were perfect.

CrossroadsKC

CrossroadsKC also hosts a handful of music festivals throughout the year, often featuring local Kansas City artists.

Already looking forward to next summer’s lineup. xx, Libbie.
